Our Team

Being part of a firm where clients’ long-term interests come before anything else is of paramount importance to Marc. He and his colleagues have worked tirelessly to build an organization that treats clients more like family – a much closer connection than traditional client/advisor relationships at other firms. He believes having a smaller, more close-knit client base directly contributes to their success.

Marc has been providing financial guidance to clients since 1997, when he began working as a financial advisor at a regional advisory firm. Along with being a founding partner of Alcyon Wealth Partners, Marc’s day-to-day role on the team includes setting investment policy and handling ongoing portfolio management. In addition to being a registered investment advisor representative, Marc also holds Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 licenses.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration, which he earned at Youngstown State University. He lives in his hometown of Austintown, Ohio, with his wife, Shannon, and their daughter.

Don returned to his hometown in 2002 and joined Marc in creating Alcyon. He is dedicated to helping his clients build, manage, and protect their wealth through personalized financial planning tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.

Don works closely with his clients to understand their goals, values, and concerns, and develops customized strategies designed to provide confidence and clarity around investments, retirement, and financial security. His goal is to simplify complex financial decisions and create clear, actionable plans.

Don graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in sports management. He resides in Austintown, Ohio, with his wife Amy, and their son and two daughters. The family enjoys traveling and spending time together. 

Brandon joined Marc & Don’s team in 2007 and began his career as a financial advisor in 2008, and played an integral part in the creation of the Alcyon team.

He oversees all operational, technical, and compliance support for the team, and ensures that the firm runs smoothly and efficiently, aligning with Alcyon’s organizational goals.

Brandon is a graduate of Westminster College, where he earned a degree in History. He currently lives in Austintown, Ohio, with his wife Tiffany and their two sons.

Nick entered the finance industry in 2020 and joined the Alcyon team in July 2021.

In addition to assisting his clients as a fully registered financial advisor, Nick’s other responsibilities include financial planning preparation, portfolio analysis, and investment research.

Nick graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Finance, and currently resides in Columbiana, Ohio with his wife Nicole.

Mindy joined the Alcyon Wealth Partners team in 2014. As the group’s Client Service Manager, Mindy’s primary responsibilities center around daily account maintenance for our clients. This includes opening new accounts, processing transfers, handling all money movements within client accounts, and dozens of other crucial daily tasks within the team.

She has a degree of Applied Business in Legal Assisting and currently resides in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, with her husband Dan and their daughter and son.
